The prices below are, of course, an approximation. Actual prices depend on size, complexity of the background, etc.

OIL PORTRAIT -Three-quarter figure: $12,000. (Add half-again for each additional figure.)

WATERCOLOR - Three-quarter figure: $4,000.

CHARCOAL - Three-quarter figure: $1,400.

Mr. Slater takes many photos, and from these he does a charcoal sketch, which is submitted for approval. Then comes the painting, which can take up to four weeks to complete. It is varnished, framed, and presented to the client.
